This holiday season be spirited away for an afternoon of dazzle and delight. Sahara’s Treasure hosts Arabian Lights, a Bellydance gala for the benefit of charity. So while the cold winter winds swirl ‘round the snow come inside for the warm food and company, and be enchanted by some of the most renowned dance artists in the area.

Donations- For those that cannot make the show or that wish to give a little more, donations here will be given directly to the Dwelling Place in their entirety.
Show your appreciation for your favorite dancer! Roses will be sold in singles and in dozens. Purchase in advance above (pick up at the door) or during the event itself. All proceeds donated to charity.

Sahara’s Treasure is an exciting new Belly dance troupe in the greater Washington D.C. area specializing in both modern and traditional interpretations. Since its formation in 2006, members Ananke, Basane, Basmah, Kira, and Sa’diyah have performed all over the country in competitions, shows, festivals, and charity events. They are an award winning troupe, having placed second in the NorthEast Bellydance Competition in Bethlehem, PA in 2009.
